Schafer received two prime contract awards from the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO CBD). Domains for these IDIQ awards were in Engineering and Technical and Information Technology. Schafer is also a subcontractor on the remaining technical and business support domains for this $495M procurement with task orders under the IDIQ anticipated in the first quarter of CY13.

This is Schafer’s first major 2013 win in the new Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) thrust area. Schafer’s proposal efforts were led by Michele Downs and Jim Ward with support from Asynchrony Solutions and the Systems Engineering and Integration Division (SEID).
