ARLINGTON, Va. (June 5, 2015) Schafer Corporation, a scientific, engineering and operational support organization providing high-end technical solutions to mission critical challenges, has signed a deal to sell its Asynchrony division to World Wide Technology, Inc., a market-leading technology integrator.

Asynchrony, Inc. was acquired by Schafer in 2010 and specializes in application development, mobile computing, systems and sensor integration, enterprise architecture, and tactical collaboration.

“We are extremely proud of our five year partnership with Asynchrony and very grateful to all the Asynchrony professionals who contributed so much to the company,” said Dr. Michael Griffin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Schafer Corporation. “We look forward to seeing Asynchrony’s continued success with the support of World Wide Technology.”

As a part of World Wide Technology (WWT), the newly named Asynchrony Labs will now offer enterprises a single provider that understands both the infrastructure and application side of technology initiatives; and the needs and concerns of both IT departments and lines of business.
