Schafer awarded second task order by the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office

The Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) has selected Schafer for a second award competed under DNDO's System Engineering and Technical Assistance Basic Purchasing Agreement. Task Order 2 is to provide technical support to DNDO's new Strategic Planning, Evaluation and Reporting Work Center (SPARC). Schafer effort at the SPARC will be focused on helping DNDO coordinate a spiral development of its Global Nuclear Detection Architecture. The task covers a three-year period of performance and will utilize about eight full-time technical staff members.

This award follows the previously-announced Task Order 1 effort, wherein Schafer is now providing a broad range of scientific, engineering and operations support to all DNDO Directorates and DNDO Headquarters.
