Schafer Government Services Sector (GSS) is pleased to announce that Schafer has been awarded the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Domestic Nuclear Detection Office’s (DNDO) Joint Analysis Center (JAC) Watch task order as a subcontractor to Advantage SCI, a small business on the DHS Technical Acquisition and Business Support Services (TABSS) contract. Schafer currently provides information analysis support to DNDO’s JAC during regular work hours. This award expands Schafer’s efforts at DNDO to include watch officer support for 24 x7 x 365 operations center coverage.
The mission of the Joint Analysis Center (JAC) is to provide awareness of the Global Nuclear Detection Architecture (GNDA) to inform decision making and enable coordination of federal, state, tribal, territorial, local (FSTTL) authorities.
“Schafer will continue to grow as a primary provider to DNDO while broadening its all-source intelligence analysis, information sharing, watch operations, and radiological and nuclear threat subject matter expertise,” said Schafer DHS General Manager, Ramesh Ramaswamy. “This serves as another example of outstanding work that Schafer is continuing to provide DNDO”.
