Schafer is pleased to announce that the Government Services Sector (GSS) has been awarded a task order by the US Navy SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic to provide New Concept Program Development Support to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency Tactical Technology Office (DARPA TTO).

The goal of the New Concept Program Development effort is to provide support to DARPA TTO in developing, assessing, and characterizing ideas for new programs in TTO. Under this task order, Schafer and its teammates will provide feasibility assessments of new technologies, development of system concepts, justification for new program implementation, evaluation of benefits to military users and ancillary commercial sector impacts, support of program definition, financial analyses, and strategies for transition to the Services. Schafer will assist TTO in developing new program concepts in the areas of advanced weapon systems, advanced platforms, and advanced space systems.
