In 1998 Schafer Corporation expanded its technology management expertise beyond its core ballistic missile, laboratory and directed energy business by purchasing the contracts and processes of what is today Schafer's Technology Management Division (TMD). In the intervening years Schafer has applied it's proven scientific and program management expertise to create a world-class technology consulting capability.
