 Schafer has extensive hands-on experience in the analysis, design, fabrication and testing of space systems. This experience, coupled with comprehensive space system design and assessment expertise, provides the breadth of knowledge that is critical to accomplish effective space vehicle and launch development.
Schafer has broad capabilities in the development of optical systems technologies. They range from concept development and requirements definition through systems analysis, trade studies, optical engineering, lens design, materials, fabrication, testing and coatings.
Schafer is leading the development and analysis of new space concepts and systems through the modeling, simulation and visualization of the space assets.
