Advanced Concepts & Technology (ACT) Division Business Division Lead

Rich Glover is currently the Business Division Leader of Schafer's Advanced Concepts & Technology Division in Albuquerque, New Mexico, supporting the Air Force in Dayton, Ohio; Kihei, Maui, Hawaii; and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Major program support within the division includes the OSD funded High Energy Laser Joint Technology Office SETA support, AFRL RDTA NOVA contract support to the Spiderworks, MDA Airborne Laser Program Mission Effectiveness Analysis and Laser IPT, AFRL/RV STRAIT program providing GNC Controls support, Space Laser Communication support and developing new photovoltaic cell systems, AFRL/RV Space Control support and AFRL/RD AMOS SETA Support and NASIC support.

Before joining Schafer, Mr. Glover served as the Director of Albuquerque Operations and Director of Advanced Concepts for AeroAstro, Inc., where he was responsible for company operations at multiple locations. He has held various positions with broad and diverse responsibilities encompassing detailed technical product development, program and personnel management, facility operations, and new business development, including the Joint Theater Missile Defense, Joint Task Force and headquarters, and the Secretary of the Air Force.

Mr. Glover has an Masters of Science degree in Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas. He has completed Ph.D. course work in Science and Technology Policy from the University of New Mexico.
