Jo Kimball founded Kimball Consulting, Inc. (KCi) in 1996 as a one-person consultancy and proceeded to grow KCi by steadily recruiting highly-qualified experts in software and firmware, with particular attention to data and telephonic communications. KCi was acquired by Schafer in April 2012 and now operates as a Schafer subsidiary known within the company as the Kimball Consulting Division.
As a veteran of the United States Navy, the Naval Security Group and the defense industry, Jo has been actively involved in providing communications and software support to the Intelligence community for over 28 years.
Jo earned his Master of Science degree in Technical Systems Management and Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Maryland.
