David Rosprim

General Manager, Advanced Concepts & Technology (ACT) Division

David Rosprim is the General Manager of the Advanced Concepts and Technology (ACT) and System Engineering and Integration Division (SEID) Divisions at Schafer.

Mr. Rosprim joined Schafer in 2008. From 2008 to 2012 he served as the Space Systems Director within the Advanced Concepts and Technology Division. Prior to coming to Schafer, Mr. Rosprim was a program manager for General Dynamics. At General Dynamics, Mr. Rosprim also served as the Principle Investigator on several government-sponsored remote sensing programs. Prior to General Dynamics, Mr. Rosprim held the positions of Director of the Remote Sensing Research Group with Photon Research Associates, and prior to that, Director of the Remote Sensing Applications Directorate with Nichols Research Corporation. In addition to his management experience, Mr. Rosprim has extensive technical experience in hyperspectral, multispectral, and polarimetric remote sensing and technologies. Additional areas of expertise include data analysis, data visualization, image processing, signal processing, pattern recognition, GIS, computational modeling, and numerical analysis.

Mr. Rosprim holds advanced degrees in Physics and Applied Statistics, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Stephen F. Austin State University.
